It’s a fact of life. Some places REQUIRE a ticket. There may be plenty of places that let you in without a ticket, but none of them can help you when you go to a place that DOES require one.
Welcome to “Mornings with Bishop Robert” — thanks for joining me … You don’t need a ticket to be welcome here! My goal is to introduce people to the Jesus they never knew, and help them get to know Him and His word personally – and better ! If our time together today speaks to your heart, then let me invite you to like, subscribe and share it with a friend! Grab a cup and lift it up, and let’s talk about getting the ticket YOU need – for free!
“Sorry, if you don’t have a ticket, you’re not getting in.”
It’s a fact of life. Some places REQUIRE a ticket. Movie theatres require a ticket. Museums and galleries often require one, too. If you travel to any of the Disney or Universal theme parks anywhere in the world you need to present a ticket to get in. (AND pay for parking, as well.)
There may be plenty of places that let you in without a ticket, but none of them can help you when you go to a place that DOES require one. I can’t just walk up to the entry gate at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando Florida without a ticket and tell them, “The park down the street from my house lets me in without a ticket, and they have a swing set.” It won’t make any difference. Nor can I show up at Universal Studios with a ticket to Sea World or Disney. I need the right ticket to get in. No exceptions.
As I said, it’s a fact of life. We all know that, and many of us deal with it every day.
But it is also a fact of death.
When you die, you’re going to find out that heaven is NOT like the park at the end of your street or in the center of your city. Entry is restricted to those who have “the ticket.” No ticket, no entry. Period. No exceptions.
The GOOD NEWS is that your ticket has already been paid for, you only need to claim it. Jesus paid the price for YOUR ticket (and mine, too). Bought. Paid for. Waiting.
The GOOD NEWS is you can have your ticket today. NOW. Just talk with Jesus, He is listening. He’s offering the deal of the century. (Actually, it is the deal of eternity!!) The great exchange is a simple one. You give Him your life, and He gives you His. And your entry is guaranteed.
That is GOOD NEWS. That is “the Gospel” – which actually means “good news.”
The rest, as they say, are details. But new life — REAL LIFE – begins with the great exchange between you and Jesus.
The Apostle John makes the “ticket situation” crystal clear in his gospel —
“Whoever HAS the Son has life. Whoever DOES NOT have the Son does not have life.”
Ask yourself right now — “Am I totally certain that I have Jesus? That I have life?”
If not, handle it now.
Sooner or later you’ll be asked if you have your ticket. Make certain your answer is “YES! Here He is.”
